Introduction
These Terms of Use constitute the legally binding conditions of use agreement made between you, the user, and Plata Network, concerning your access to and use of the Plata Network website, products, dApps, services and community platforms and social media channels.
Plata Network is a community project developed and maintained by contractors and volunteers who believe in its ideals. It is not a legal entity or financial product.
When we mention Plata Network in this document, and on any other document available but not limited to this website, it includes the Plata Network website, Plata Network affiliated websites, dApps (decentralized applications), social media channels, discussion forums, wikis, and any other information or products available through these community platforms.
Accepting these Terms
By accessing and/or participating in any Plata Network services, including visiting or browsing the website, using any products, services or community platforms, or contributing to the project, you agree to be bound by these Terms. If you disagree with any part of the Terms, you may not access or use Plata Network.
Changes to the Terms
Plata Network reserves the right to modify these Terms at any time in its sole discretion. Such changes will be effective immediately upon posting on the Plata Network website or community platforms. Your continued use of Plata Network after any changes to the Terms constitutes acceptance of such changes. It is your responsibility to regularly check the website and community platforms for updates to the Terms.
Accessing Plata Network
We endeavour to provide continuous access to Plata Network community platforms. However, access may be interrupted for maintenance, upgrades, emergencies or situations outside of our control. We may discontinue services at our discretion.
You are responsible for making all arrangements necessary to access Plata Network. The services are provided “as is” without warranties of any kind. We do not guarantee the services will always be available, error-free, secure or safe. You use them at your own risk.
Intellectual Property
Plata Network contains copyrighted material, trademarks and proprietary information, including but not limited to text, documents, software, photos and graphics. This material is owned and/or licensed by Plata Network. You may use information on Plata Network only for permitted non-commercial purposes. You may not distribute, modify or create derivative works without consent. The exception applies to NFT/SFT holders, which have full IP rights provided by these digital assets.
Acceptable Use
You agree not to misuse Plata Network services or assist others in doing so. Prohibited activities include illegal, fraudulent, unethical, disruptive, or harmful conduct. You must comply with all laws and regulations. Plata Network reserves the right to terminate services for any unacceptable use.
User Content
Users are solely responsible for any content submitted to Plata Network community platforms. You represent that you have all necessary rights and the content complies with our policies. You grant us a non-exclusive license to use your content within the project. We may remove any content at our discretion.
Assumption of Risk
Use of Plata Network may involve risks including system failures, information loss, unauthorized access, financial loss and technology risks. You voluntarily assume full responsibility for all associated risks. You waive any claims against Plata Network and its organizers, contributors, affiliates and partners for any damages or losses associated with these risks.
No Liability
To the fullest extent, Plata Network disclaims any warranties and shall not be liable for any damages arising from use of its services. Plata Network assumes no liability for third party conduct or content.
Indemnification
You agree to indemnify, defend and hold harmless Plata Network from any claims, damages, liabilities, costs or expenses arising from your use of services, violation of these Terms or violation of any laws or regulations.
Termination
Plata Network reserves the right to terminate any user’s access to community platforms at any time without notice, for violations of these Terms or unlawful conduct.
